Colby Gardens

We went to Colby Woodland Gardens today

The weather was just right

We entered, paid and decided to visit the
walled garden first.

We walked up to the summer house
and sat
and enjoyed looking around

eventually we decided to follow the paths
around the garden

As they meandered around the garden we
enjoyed the many colours

As we left we looked back at the Summer House and the many different colours

We came down into the courtyard where a stream flowed out of the little well and down along the side

of the walkway.  It was edged by differnet plants and pretty colours

We decided it was time to eat and sat down to one of their famous home made flans with fresh bread, home made apple pickle and salad

After lunch we explored the rest of the wonderful gardens....but that's another story!!

  11. Your header is stunning! Thank you for taking us on the walk through the gardens with you. Everything is so beautiful. As long as I can remember, I have always wanted to live in either Wales or Ireland.
