My daughter's cat
is staying with us for a few weeks
as she prepares to pack up home and move.
We're not sure how long she's staying
but I'm hoping that her presence will chase off
some of those rabbits!
She's a Bengal
and you can see the tiger markings on her
I fancy you can really see the tiger in her as she walks.......
She was out with me
as I pottered in the back patio this afternoon
and it was nice
to have undemanding company!!
When I sat down
she jumped up and stretched out next to me.....
on the old garden bench.....
I think I'm going to miss her when, eventually,
she goes!
Oh Joan, what a beauty she is! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cat . . . I think she (?) is keeping a watchful eye on you to make sure you are okay!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful cat! She probably enjoys being with you, too! Have a good week ahead.
ReplyDeletehave to say that i think your "grandcat" is just lovely. Have never seen one of these before! Enjoy
ReplyDeleteShe is just beautiful! I just love cats so I know you will miss her when she goes.
ReplyDeleteJoan, I find it hard to believe the cat didn't try to run away. I am scared to even let our cat out of the house . By the way, our cat is so very spoiled and has a bad cat-a-tude. Smiles to you, Susie
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful cat! Looks just like a Bengal tiger! She must feel at home at at ease at your house.
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous cat! We recently re-inherited my daughter's cat after a 3 year absence and I'm having to get used to the constant "loving" this sweet cat wants. I'm also a little concerned about me...I talk to her constantly! I'm becoming a cat lady!
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute!! Beautiful cat indeed! How neat to have a house guest like this!
ReplyDeletebetty
She is gorgeous. It would be hard for me to say good bye when it is time to go to her new home! She looks so comfy on the garden bench.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!! I know you will enjoy her company.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous cat and her eyes are the most beautiful color of green.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! When I saw the first picture I actually thought it was of a real Bengal tiger. She looks right at home in your garden.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jann
What a beautiful, beautiful cat. I thought it was a real Bengal tiger until I read a little farther. It is going to be hard to lose her when she leaves. xo Diana

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous cat - I'll bet she is having the best "vacation" with you and being spoiled with treats.
ReplyDeleteShe really does look like a tiger!
ReplyDeleteOh Joan, when I first saw your blog, I thought 'oh my gosh, she's had a scary visitor!' Laughed at myself when I read she was a welcomed kitty!
ReplyDeleteShe's a beautiful cat, Joan. And, she will scare off those bunnies, that's for sure. You will have her scent for a while after she's moves on, too.
What a great friend,
Blessings,
Donna

ReplyDeleteJoan, what a lovely garden you have to putter in and it shows the care you give it. Your daughter's cat is beautiful and I was thinking bengal tiger before reading the description. You failed to let us know her name and so I was curious...maybe some others are as well. Glad you have such a personable feine friend.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty is your kitty!
