The Visitor

My daughter's cat
is staying with us for a few weeks
as she prepares to pack up home and move.

We're not sure how long she's staying
but I'm hoping that her presence will chase off
some of those rabbits!

She's a Bengal
and you can see the tiger markings on her

I fancy you can really see the tiger in her as she walks.......

She was out with me
as I pottered in the back patio this afternoon
and it was nice
to have undemanding company!!

When I sat down
she jumped up and stretched out next to me.....

on the old garden bench.....

I think I'm going to miss her when, eventually,
she goes!

  6. Joan, I find it hard to believe the cat didn't try to run away. I am scared to even let our cat out of the house . By the way, our cat is so very spoiled and has a bad cat-a-tude. Smiles to you, Susie

  8. That is a gorgeous cat! We recently re-inherited my daughter's cat after a 3 year absence and I'm having to get used to the constant "loving" this sweet cat wants. I'm also a little concerned about me...I talk to her constantly! I'm becoming a cat lady!

  21. Oh Joan, when I first saw your blog, I thought 'oh my gosh, she's had a scary visitor!' Laughed at myself when I read she was a welcomed kitty!

She's a beautiful cat, Joan. And, she will scare off those bunnies, that's for sure. You will have her scent for a while after she's moves on, too.

    What a great friend,
    Blessings,
    Donna

  24. Joan, what a lovely garden you have to putter in and it shows the care you give it. Your daughter's cat is beautiful and I was thinking bengal tiger before reading the description. You failed to let us know her name and so I was curious...maybe some others are as well. Glad you have such a personable feine friend.
