Lunch Out

Some friends decided to take me out for a belated Birthday Lunch

When asked where we were going
 where she pointed a finger
into the distance

I got my camera out and put the zoom
to see
the rock that looks like a lion resting
can you see it?

So we ended up at the mill that nestles
under the resting lion

I've walked up there often when I was younger
Can you see the rock amidst the trees?

Treffgarne mill is a treasure house
                       for all sorts of tastes!

We used to have an old horse drawn implement like       one of these until someone stole it

Tea out of a brown china tea pot
                          always seems
                     to taste wonderful !

I was so hungry I forgot
to take photos of our first course
Mine is the first photo....hazelnut meringue!

We wandered around the mill and gift shop

And then had a look at the Mill Wheel
                          and stream......

                                             The path looked inviting
but I just couldn't do it this time

Funny what you can find in odd corners!

So we headed home and I looked up at the rock
                  (through a dirty windscreen!)

I'm joining Nancy at  Rural Thursday

and Beverley at Pink Saturday
