Good Morning Sun!

It was such a beautiful morning today
that I couldn't resist picking up my camera
and then I read Sue's post

and so I thought I would post
what I had seen out of my bedroom window

So, Sue, this post is down to you!!

I love watching
the lingering early morning mist
reluctantly drag
itself off the sleeping countryside

I have to spend a lot of time in my room resting
at the moment
and these views just bless me.

I hope that you have enjoyed
seeing the dawn of a new day as much as I do?

I'm joining Nancy at Your Sunday Best
and Elaine at Sunny Simple Sunday

  2. Happy some sunshine is coming your way during your days of resting. Wonderful photos of the fog in and leaving.

How are you . . . are you pleased with the surgery results?

I wish I lived near and I would make a meal, bring it to you, sit beside you and we could tell stories to one another of our lives. Maybe we should tell some stories right here . . .

  11. Hi Joan; Indeed I did enjoy your wonderful early morning photographs. Take much care of yourself. It is sunny and crispy in BC (Canada) this morning. I will be able to hang the laundry out. I love the scent of line dried sheets and towels.

  15. It sounds like you had a rough September, Joan. I hope you can get that much-needed rest to recuperate fully. What gorgeous views you enjoy! Someday I'm going to get to Wales. We've been as far as Hay-on-Wye, just stepping into Wales from England. But Wales is definitely on my must-see list! Now it' more 'must-see' than ever.

  21. Beautiful views from your windows. I adore watching the fog lift but lately it's not lifting rather turning to rain. This was a fun reprieve from what I've been seeing from my own windows.
